Mission Critical Dog Training

We sent our chocolate lab Koe to Mission Critical Dog Training about 6 months ago. Koe had some temperament issues and he was not responding to any other training we tried. Mission Critical was almost a last hope option for us. Koe was gone for three weeks and became a new dog. He had a few speed bumps in the beginning with the trainers but they were able to work with his strengths and weaknesses to figure out the perfect solution. It has been a few months now and knock on wood, we have had almost no problems with his temperament and aggression. He is now the most loving dog and in fact he now likes to have cuddle time before he goes to bed. We owe a tremendous amount of his progression to Mission Critical and we would refer them to everyone! We are so unbelievably thankful and grateful for all they did!

We simply cannot say enough about Mission Critical Dog Training. Our every concern in behavior that we had been dealing with was met with compassion and consistency in training for our dog and constant communication with us. The program was very inclusive to include our entire family so we learned along the way making the continuance of expectations an easier transition. Lauren and Wes go above and beyond to create an environment that is not only disciplined but also nurturing. I highly recommend their programs to anyone with dogs of all breeds and all behaviors.

Our 2 dogs, both 5 year old labs, have been home from 3 weeks of board & train for 2 weeks now. I cannot even put into words how great Lauren and Wesley are and how incredible what they do is. The saying, you can't teach an old dogs new tricks... is just not true when you understand dogs and train them like they do. I have wanted to get our dogs trained for years, we love them and they are so sweet and fun... but I have felt anxious having people over at times or embarrassed by the way they acted, specifically around other people. I wrote it off as, 'oh they are just protecting us'. But reality is, we neglected to train them at all, much less with any consistency. Lauren and Wesley KNOW THEIR STUFF. They took our dogs into their home for 3 weeks to board and train. We got videos and pictures updating us on their progress. Lauren responds to questions so well and graciously. As much as they spend time training our dogs, they spent time training US and helping us to be successful when they came back home to us. Our dogs got the chance to socialize with other dogs, learned leash manners, learned door manners (we are still working on this at home), learned place and how to be confident and less needy. They are less stressed out by loud noises and distractions. We have had workers in our home everyday since they got back to us, and they are not phased by the loud noises, hammering, sawing, or the fact that people are upstairs. THIS IS HUGE! I cannot thank Lauren and Wesley enough. I highly recommend them for training any dogs and am thankful for the opportunity to work with them. My personal anxiety is lower because my dogs anxiety is lower- and I still have one more home training to go! In the 2 pictures, Lauren sent us our dogs practicing staying in place together and learning to relax- They look so happy! You can see my husband practicing door manners with one... THIS IS HUGE!! They used to run over us getting back in the house.
