Misfits Dog Training

Zoe and John are phenomenal! We had an adolescent, rambunctious, excitable German Shepherd pup who did a month long board and train with them. Our pooch came back SO much more manageable and we are so grateful. We received photo and video updates frequently and they answered any and all questions we had along the way. John came over a couple of times after the board and train was complete to help us learn how to continue our pup’s training. Knowing that Zoe and John are just a text or call away gives us a great sense of relief should we have any further questions or need additional training resources. We will continue to recommend Misfits Dog Training to anyone looking for a trainer!

Our Boxer went to dog training for three weeks. Before he left, he was taking food from the kids, barking, had a little bit of aggression, didn’t know how to walk on a leash, and wouldn’t follow our commands. We had real expectations and were hoping he would come back with some of our goals met. But he came back even better than expected. He knows his place, he’s perfect on a walk, he doesn’t take food off the counters, and he’s so much more behaved than before his three-week boarding school. If you are tired of your dog acting naughty, I would highly recommend Misfits. They are absolutely amazing and they do exactly what they say and more.

Misfits has been so helpful to our family. We felt very comfortable at the home visit before picking up our 1 yr old pup. They gave us tools and continuous support even after the 4 weeks of training to continue to build his confidence and obedience. He now respects walking and off leash behaviors even with our young kids leading. Very impressed with the overall service and genuine care for the animals.

John and his team are the absolute best! John breaks down his training thought processes. He also took the time to learn about our family dynamic. He is very down to earth, customer focused, intelligent and a subject matter expert in his trade. From puppy to old dog not able to learn new tricks, I have no doubt John can teach your fur baby and the owner. Teaching a dog is only half of the equation. His fully engaged and encompassing training combines everything you could ever ask for in a trainer. I highly highly recommend him to anyone and everyone! Thanks again John!
