FirstBarkJean helped us TREMENDOUSLY with our high prey drive JRT and predation substitution training. She was extremely thoughtful and thorough giving us the tools we needed to train our dog with a positive reinforcement framework. Overall, Jean was really great to work with and we'd highly recommend her for any training, but especially with predation substitution training!

Mike is an incredible trainer and helped us last year with our rescue, Georgia’s, reactivity. He is an excellent teacher to us humans, teaching us not only what to do but why dogs might behave a certain way. He helped us recognize stress in our dog and avoid these situations. His lessons helped Georgia (and us!) become much more confident, especially around other dogs. We cannot thank or recommend Mike enough to other dog parents. We are so grateful and would absolutely work with him again!
Mike is an excellent trainer and he was a pleasure to learn from. He provided endless tips, tricks, resources, and even toys for us to use with our newly adopted dog, who is adjusting to the city quite well thanks to Mike.
Best dog trainer in Brooklyn, hands down! Our rescue dog was so anxious and reactive on the busy streets of Brooklyn before working with Mike. After just a few sessions she is hitting the streets like a puppy champion! Mike has such a brilliant approach to working with dogs and animals and we’ve seen our dog gain so much confidence from working with him. Can’t recommend Mike highly enough!
We loved working with Mike on training for our new puppy! He is an excellent coach and a really nice person to be around. We enjoyed our sessions with him and learned a lot of great techniques to make the puppy phase more bearable! He is a very supportive, patient and encouraging teacher.
