Mike Preis Dog Training

Mike and Jean are lifesavers. They worked with us to help our sweet pup overcome her separation anxiety. Mike was patient, kind, and understanding. He took time to explain his methods to us and helped us better decipher our dog's behavior. Before we worked with Mike we couldn't leave our dog even for a few minutes alone in our apartment without her freaking out. After working with Mike, we were able to leave her for increasingly longer periods of time. Now, 1.5 years later (it took me forever to write this review), we are so grateful for Mike's help and we're still able to leave our dog for hours without fear that she's in distress.

Have been working with both Mike and Jean for over a year to train our puppy (both generally and specifically with separation) and I cannot recommend them enough. They met us where we were at as new owners and provided us with tons of tools. Not to mention they are EXCEPTIONAL with dogs. Their demeanor, patience, kindness, and availability are unmatched. Thanks Mike and Jean :) Can't wait to continue being in touch as the need arrives!

Mike is phenomenal. He is patient and knows how to communicate in ways that resonate with both you and your dog. From the very first session, I learned effective ways to handle my dog across a range of situations. What has impressed me most is Mike's ability to meet you and your dog where you are and to work from there. He is very realistic in what he expects from you, while also showing you how much progress you can make with short daily sessions working on what he shows you. I wholeheartedly recommend Mike to work with any dog, including but not limited to reactive dogs (like mine).
