MidMo Dog Training

Mid Mo Dog Center has an enthusiastic staff of dog lovers. Two of my dogs have been there for classes and for doggy daycare. All three have boarded there. The two who take classes & go to daycare start whining as soon as they realize where they are going. When I drop them off for daycare, they seem to forget all about my existence when we get in the door. They come home tired & happy. One of my dogs is in MidMo Waggers, a class that does a mix of agility, tricks, & obedience demonstrations around town. He loves it, and it has really strengthened our bond. As for boarding, the true proof of the quality of care is that none of my dogs are upset with me for "deserting" them for a few days. Jennifer is very knowledgeable about human-canine bonds as well as canine behavior. She meets the dog and handler where they are and helps them develop the best bond for them, not some preconceived notion of a perfect human-canine bond.

Murphy, Bailey and I have been going to Mid-Mo Dogs in Jefferson City since March 2021. I have boarded M&B many times, lots of day care and grooming. M&B are happy and excited to be there and I trust Jennifer and her staff to treat them like they were their own. M&B start whining when we turn off Christy Drive. If they see their friends in the window, I can hardly contain them, they are so excited to get inside. We have taken all of Jennifer’s dog training classes too. Kayla, Laiana, and Lorelei have trained one of my dogs while I trained the other. They “mind mended” with them. They will do anything for them. Jennifer’s training style is calm, rewarding, patient, and fun. We are part of her drill team, Mid-Mo Waggers. You dogs won’t walk they will run to Mid-Mo Dogs. I drive from Columbia because Mid-Mo Dogs is the place for those want the best for their dogs.

I took my mom's beagle pup Duke here for their board and train services. They sent my mom photos daily during his stay and had constant communication about his well-being. I have nothing but good things to say about MidMo Dog Training. I have taken Duke back for regular boarding as well. When I pick up Duke he's happy to see me but shows no eagerness in leaving, that's a great sign. Good facility, great product, incredible staff. Easy to give 5 stars. Will return and recommend.
