Our premier immersive training program. Your dog stays with us and receives professional daily training from our experts, fast-tracking their obedience and transforming their behavior by eliminating bad habits and encouraging good ones.
This package teaches basic obedience or help with behavior modification or off-leash training. Board & Stay packages last for 2 weeks for the canine and 3 for the owner. First session is day of pickup and then moves to one session per week for the following 2 weeks of applying.

After rescuing Scruffer McFluffer from the streets of downtown KC, I realized I was in over my head with transitioning the dog to a Forever Home. My mother did some research and sent me the link to Midas Touch and said “he needs some training”. I decided it couldn’t hurt to take Scruffer for a few lessons.. I called and left message—got prompt return call from James and set up our first session. Scruffer had gotten very protective and was barking at anyone who came near, especially men. But we pulled up and James introduced himself, took Scruffer for a short walk thru yard and he was like a different dog. From the start he became a model student and with James instruction was heeling, sitting staying down like he’d done it for years. James is truly a dog whisperer! Totally worth every penny! I have been super happy with the change in my dogs behavior and temperament. James takes time to communicate why/how your dog behaves the way he does. With that information and his training-you will have a whole new dog! Highly recommend!

10/10 definitely recommend Midas Dog Training. My 4 year old Black Mouth Curr furr baby is a completely different dog after just 4 weeks of training. After a particularly embarrassing trip to the vet, where I had no control over my dog, i said enough was enough! The decision was made to get dog training. After speaking with James about how my dog acted at home and in public, he recommend leadership training. I have zero regrets with the decision to get training. Below are examples of how my dog's behavior has changed since starting training at Midas. My dog, Scout, used to pull so hard when I took him on walks, that one time my shoulder came out if place. Now, he walks right beside me. I am walking him instead of him walking me. If other people were walking towards us on the side walk, I used to push him off into the grass, crouch down, and hold onto him so tight until the people passed. Now, I don't stop or move out of the way, and Scout just looks at them without making a sound. If we had people come over, Scout would bark, growl, and pace back and forth the whole time. Even though he was always just loud and not actually aggressive, it was still exhausting and stressful. We just had friends over, Scout let out two barks and then immediately calmed down. Our friends were able to pet him, and at one point Scout just laid down while we all hung out. No more growls or pacing. Taking him out into public used to be a nightmare. I tried taking him to dog friendly places, but I had no control over him. It was very stressful and embarrassing. Tonight I decided to take him to Home Depot amd really put his training to the test. I am so excited and proud the share that Scout did not bark or growl at a single person! He walked by me the whole time with just a few corrections when I suddenly changed direction and he wasn't paying attention to me. I made him sit and stay right in the middle of a walkway. A lady walked right in front of him. Scout did not break stay or make a single noise! He simply reached his nose out and sniffed her! I am so excited to take him places now! I am so grateful to Midas Dog Training for teaching me how to be a leader to my dog, and how to train him properly!

Our dog, Cocoa, entered adolescence and quickly became very fearful. She was barking, growling, and snapping at people. After a failed attempt with a different dog trainer, our vet recommended James at Midas Touch. In less than two weeks, James saved our dog by giving her, her confidence back. As an added bonus, his training seems to have improved our dog’s anxiety diarrhea for which we have been on prescriptions for a year. As we continue to work with James and Cocoa, his honest approach has endeared all of us to him.
