I would have given more than 5 stars if Google Reviews allowed. After touring several training facilities, I felt that Jim’s crew would provide our pup (who we had yet to adopt) with the best training experience. In an unforeseen twist of fate, we were given the opportunity to adopt our dream dog through Mid Michigan rather than getting her from a breeder. Our puppy, Lulu, spent a month at puppy bootcamp in Troy. Each day, they would send a myriad of videos; some of Jim explaining the underlying concepts of their training methods while other clips featured our dog in her training sessions. There were additional opportunities to watch her training as it was live-streamed on their facebook page. Even though our pup has graduated, they made it 1000% clear to contact them if/when post-training issues occur, which I intend on doing. Overall, they are honest and transparent; but more importantly, you can count on them to give your dog plenty of love and nurturance as well as a high-quality training experience.

Paid $4,000, had my dog for a month, only difference with her is she knows “go to your bed”. Didn’t listen to anything I told them at intake, made some comments to me and I explained and put every detail imaginable about my dog in the website they provide and still didn’t know she’d do anything for a toy which is what the trainer said to me. Was a waste. It’s been a few months. My wife did not want to say anything because she’s kinder than me but it was a total waste, and the one issue we really wanted worked on never got resolved. The videos of her were helpful but the things she was doing she already knew. There’s a lot more I could say but I just want you all to know not to waste your money. We had a friend do the same training on there less than year old dog and they also said it did nothing.
