About Michael's Pack Dog Training Center

We focus on not only training your dog but teaching owners how to best communicate with their dogs and help them overcome common behavioral issues. Communication is the key. It is our firm belief that dogs learn from being motivated to learn. All of Michael’s Pack trainers are certified professional dog trainers, schooled in positive reinforcement training. Some feel that you can get a dog to “listen” by using heavy handed techniques but that’s not us. We want you to have a happy dog and a wonderful relationship with your pet. Relationship-based dog training creates trust and mutual respect. The team at Michael’s Pack uses only humane, positive-reinforcement training methods. No fear-based training.

Nina and I got the chance to work with Michael, who is the owner of this training center and it was just a blast! We had a month of separation anxiety training, all virtual where we (Nina and I - with the help of Michael) had homework 4+ days out of the week and had the opportunity to meet with him once a week, and Nina has been a A+ student thanks to his homeworks and amazing punctual time management! I could not recommend Michael enough!!!!! He was the best, super supportive and positive, always replying whenever we needed to ask questions and just very kind and a loving dog person ❤️🐾 We definitely will be keeping in touch with him, he’s the best 10/10 recommend!

Our family has relied on Michael's Pack for its compassionate, effective, positive dog training for over a decade. Three years after the passing of our beloved Doodle, we brought a brand new puppy home and the first person we called was Michael. Since he had relocated to New Jersey, he referred us to his wonderful, experienced leader/ trainer here on Long Island, Phil, and I cannot praise him highly enough. Phil has, from day one, taken a personal interest in our puppy and in helping us build the best possible relationship with her. He is kind, responsive, honest, hardworking, knowledgeable and as passionate as Michael about creating the best possible canine/human relationship. He has helped us to understand her, love her, protect her and provide her with the necessary boundaries to become a beloved and treasured member of both our immediate and extended family. Five stars to Phil and Michael's Pack!

We had Len as our trainer with our one year old poodle Bruno . Len was great, Bruno had come along way after the training course and Len spent extra time on some visits if needed, taking phone calls if I had any questions or concerns. Great learning experience.
