About Michael's Pack Dog Training Center

We focus on not only training your dog but teaching owners how to best communicate with their dogs and help them overcome common behavioral issues. Communication is the key. It is our firm belief that dogs learn from being motivated to learn. All of Michael’s Pack trainers are certified professional dog trainers, schooled in positive reinforcement training. Some feel that you can get a dog to “listen” by using heavy handed techniques but that’s not us. We want you to have a happy dog and a wonderful relationship with your pet. Relationship-based dog training creates trust and mutual respect. The team at Michael’s Pack uses only humane, positive-reinforcement training methods. No fear-based training.

We have a 4.5 year old GSD/Husky who is extremely friendly and silly but recently had developed some reactivity towards other dogs which we don’t like to see. We signed up with Michael’s pack and had the privilege of working with Eric Vissichelli for 8 weeks (we had a time crunch due to an upcoming move). We are so pleasantly surprised and thrilled to see the progress King was able to make with Eric’s guidance over this amount of time. He is now able to be within feet with other dogs and lay calmly without feeling threatened or anxious. He has also successfully been able to greet several dogs without issue. Although this was our main focus, we worked on many impulse control exercises and King’s over all demeanor and behavior has drastically improved. He is also notably happier to feel challenged and rewarded for good behavior. Aside from his amazing training abilities and knowledge, Eric was also great at communicating, punctual, friendly and accommodating. He was always reachable and has offered to remain available even as we move out of state. Needless to say this is money well spent and we can’t wait to continue to work on this foundation and see continued results! Thanks Eric!

Myself and my girlfriend Stef definitely recommend this training program! Phil was very informative during initial consultation and Nikki as our trainer has definitely helped us with our Thor, he’s come a long way and we really do see improvements. Nikki is great at being a behaviorist trainer as well!

Our trainer Nikki was fantastic to work with! Nikki worked with our whole family, especially the kids, to make sure we all knew ways to handle our new puppy! Miller is doing so much better and we are confident we can continue with everything she taught us! You could immediately tell Nikki loves what she does and wanted Miller to succeed! We also did the group trainings with Phil and Miller was able to socialize with other dogs! Phil was able to focus on individual commands and Nikki was able to make sure we reinforced them at home! Both trainings really benefitted our puppy and we are so grateful for the whole team of trainers!!!!
