I cannot thank Method K9 enough for all the help they did for our pushy but sweet boy Simba! Before sending Simba to their 8 week board and train, he was incredibly reactive to dogs, bikes, skateboards and anything he perceived as a threat-which almost everything because he was so insecure. He was also a dog that did not care for physical touch and a huge resource guarder. And as a family expecting their first baby we knew we had to do something because we never wanted to choose between our first baby and our new human baby. Hope is a literal GODSEND and worked so diligently with Simba and even taught us so much about our very own dog. Some of the things we were doing out of love for him were actually hurting him and Hope taught us all of this. With the new baby here and a tremendous amount of change for Simba, it is still a work in progress but we have a much more balanced dog, a dog who takes direction well, and a dog who knows that we are here for him. We know how to fulfill his needs and can manage him so much better. We can now walk him without him lunging at dogs, take his toys without being in fear of a bite and include him in so many more of our activities! We love Method K9 and will forever be grateful for what they did for Simba and for our family! I just wish they were closer as we do not trust anyone more than them for Simba’s care and well being! Selfishly hoping they relocate to San Diego soon 😂❤️

My husband and I chose Method K9 to help our dog, Rosie, overcome her extreme anxiety that was causing unwanted behaviors. Ciara spent a lot of time with Rosie in different environments to help her learn how to work through her anxiety and how to appropriately handle uncomfortable situations. Method K9 also provided my husband and I with online training courses and weekly videos of Rosie progress so we could learn how to continue her training when she was finished with her boarding. I would highly recommend Method K9 to anyone who is search for a dog trainer!

MethodK9 was absolutely instrumental in getting my dog where he is today. I have a 2 yo GSD who struggles with anxiety, reactivity, and fear-based aggression. Stephanie and the staff at Method K9 gave me the tools and resources I needed to help my dog be successful. They didn't just teach him, but they worked extensively with me as well. He is now manageable on walks, at the vet, in the car, and out in public. We've also gotten several compliments on how well-mannered he is, something I never would have imagined a year ago.

I recently attended the Train the Trainer 1.0 program at Method K9, and I cannot praise Stephanie and her staff enough. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and professionalism. Stephanie's expertise and dedication in training and rehabilitating behavioral dogs is nothing short of awe-inspiring. This shadow program was an absolute goldmine of knowledge—insightful, transparent, hands-on, and incredibly inspiring. The program content was thorough and delivered in a way that was both engaging and easy to understand. I left with invaluable knowledge and a renewed confidence in my training abilities. Method K9 exceeded my expectations in every way, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to advance their dog training knowledge and to any owner struggling with behavioral issues with their own dog(s).
