Mayday Dog Training

Excellent training program. Highly recommended! My dog was very dog reactive and uncomfortable in most environments. After only six lessons, Charley is visibly more confident in new environments and neutral towards other dogs. Nick is very well informed and experienced, but also very approachable and easy to talk to. Our lessons were genuinely fun! It makes a huge difference when you can tell that the trainer is invested in your dog's success, and that's what you get here. One problem I have had in the past is that some trainers will train your dog for you and tell you the commands, but they don't really take the time to train you. That wasn't an issue at all here. Nick listened attentively as I described problems I had with Charley outside of training and incorporated solutions to them into our lessons. He would also take the time to watch me handle Charley and offered helpful tips and corrections about my handling. I believe that is truly what gives you something to take home and keep building off of even after the lessons are complete.

Ok it's been 3 weeks since I got my puppy back from Nick. And all I could say it's hands down to this guy...he is the best at what he does. He kept me updated everyday she was there (2 1/2) weeks ..sent me videos and asked for concerns about the pup... kali (pup) she is the best dog now I could had asked for... she instantly listen to her commands and obey every single moment... she also was a scared of people and dogs.. now that I've been kept her training daily, she is no longer scared and actually approach people and dogs if I say so... thank you Nick for everything 🙏..God bless you and your family and of course your business as well.... you deserve to be the #1... you have made me and my family as happy we can be

We had an outstanding experience with our 14 month old lab puppy at Mayday. She came home a very happy girl due to patient, consistent and reward-based training given with obvious love for and understanding of dogs. Before her training, Belle was excessively hyper and we were both frustrated and exhausted. I spent a good part of my day trying to tire her out, which only led to more demanding and hyper behavior on her part. She is now so much more in control of herself, which makes our lives, walks and playtime a better experience for both of us. Knowing and understanding the “place” command allows her the quiet time we both need during the day. I feel certain that, with the tools I learned from Nick, I can keep up her training to help her become the mature, confident and well-mannered dog she’s on her way to becoming.
