Mayday Dog Training

We took our 8 month old South African Boerboel for off leash training. When she came home and I couldn't be any happier with the results . She listened to every command right from the start and never stopped listening. Nick was extremely polite and informative when we dropped off the dog and even more when we picked her up. The videos he send to us during the two week stay were great also. Now when we take her out or people come to the house everyone is amazed at how obedient she is. I’m if I ever get another dog it will definitely go to Nick for the 2 week training.

If you are looking for a great dog trainer Mayday is remarkable. From our first phone call with Nick inquiring about the process to the end our experience was stellar. Mayday Dog Training absolutely changed our dog(Milka Bella). Prior to training she was non stop on the run in the house and if she got out of our yard she was gone. I was at wits end and ready to re-home her but decided to send her to training as a last chance effort to keep her in the family. We selected Mayday Dog Training and could not be happier with this decision. She did the 2 week training program with Nick & Ried and the change is amazing. They worked with her on leash, off leash and with an e-collar. We met with Nick and we learned the commands and training techniques. She has been back with us for a week and doing great. Milka now stays calm in the house responds to her commands and we are able to interact with her other than just watching her run like a wild banshie. Due to our circumstances and a recent move Nick went above and beyond to be sure our dog was trained. He boarded her and worked with her an extra week until I flew in to pick her up. Nick trained my 4 month old Bull Terrier and he has really become an amazing dog. We are almost 2 months out from his training and he still follows his commands very well. My Bull Terrier, Rocky, spent 3 weeks in training with Nick. I flew from Miami to Houston specifically to have my puppy trained by May Day Training and the results have been fantastic. Rocky has become very alert and has learned over 12 different commands. I take my dog everywhere with me and he has been welcomed to every restaurant and store we have gone to. I had also asked Nick to get Rocky acclimated with being on a boat and now he goes kayaking with me as well! Highly recommended!

Mayday is wonderful! Our mini golden doodle was a crazy pup when we dropped him off. We did 2 weeks and he was great! You do have to keep up with the training at home, but it’s been over a year and we can walk without a leash and stay by our side! He can get crazy at times until I remind him to mind and he is good. If I wanted him to stay on his bed he would stay hours. I want him with me so I let him follow me around and sleep in my bed but he stays where I tell him to! Overall I highly recommend Mayday!

I had scheduled training for my rescue puppy, Dixie, the week Harvey hit Houston. Because I work in a hospital, I was called in on Sunday for the disaster. Nick was very nice and took her a day early so I wouldn't have to make arrangements for her until Monday morning. He kept me posted on their status that week and promised to keep her safe for me which made being at work for a straight 72 hours much easier. When I picked Dixie up, she was a very well trained puppy. We had tried taking her to a puppy training class, but were unsuccessful at getting her to do the things Nick got her to do in one week. It is such a pleasure to take her on a walk and not have her pulling or sniffing every little thing we walk by. I have always envied people whose dogs were well behaved, but now I don't have to. Dixie loves going to Nick's for her follow ups and gets very excited to see him. I know he must take good care of her when she is there. I would certainly recommend Mayday Dog Training and take any of my future dogs to Nick. Lisa Sutton
