We brought Harvey to training because we were having difficulty inviting my adult children and friends over to our house. He is smart and picked up the skills he was lacking. We are (relatively) smart too and picked up the skills we were lacking to consistently control his behaviors.

She used to pull so much on walks and would behave terribly when she saw other dogs. She is great with heeling now and can calmly walk by other dogs! Morgan also taught us so much and gave us tools and advice so we can continue to work with her. We can’t say thanks enough to Morgan and all of the staff at Maximum Canine!! We took our new rescue puppy Maisy to Max K9 for basic obedience training and to resolve some behavioral issues she was having. We signed up for 6 private sessions with Jimmy and we couldn't recommend him and their program enough! Jimmy was a great trainer, he gave us clear instructions and worked to address each of our specific concerns. Maisy's behavior has greatly improved and we have a stronger bond with her. She now has confidence in us to lead her, and doing things like walks and being around other people and dogs are so much easier.
5/14/2026 update: We just finished our first Precision Handling class with instructor Kaleigh and we couldn't be happier with the experience! It was a great opportunity to strengthen my relationship with my dog and learn focused obedience tailored to our needs. Kaleigh was patient, knowledgeable, and thorough in her teaching style. I would absolutely recommend her class!

Katie was amazing with our over-reactive, anxious, aggressive dog. He is a 7-year-old dog who I truly never thought would be able to be trained. He used to bark uncontrollably at everything and every sound. Today, I can sit with him peacefully, and he is like a completely different dog in the best way possible.
We couldn’t even keep our blinds open before because he would race over barking at any person, dog, or sound outside. The transformation has honestly been incredible.
I cannot recommend Maximum Canine enough. The professionalism, communication, and updates throughout the entire process were amazing. We are beyond grateful to Katie and the team for helping give us our dog — and our peace of mind — back. We will also be going to the lifetime classes as well to keep up with the training.

We recently completed another round of Precision class at Maximum Canine with Kaleigh instructing and truly enjoyed it. It was great to build from where we previously left off and continue progressing while fine tuning areas that still need work.
Kaleigh brought a lot of helpful insight and different approaches that really helped both us and Moose better understand the exercises and mechanics behind them. We’re already planning on taking the class again and look forward to continuing to improve.
One of the things we appreciate most about Maximum is that training is never treated as “finished.” There is always something new to learn, polish, and strengthen, and we love having a place that supports that mindset.

We have just finished our 2nd round of Level 3 Offsite Training with Katie. Even though we’ve completed the course before, she is innovative and keeps us not only learning new things but helping us, the handlers by honing in on and improving basic skills. Nicole has filled in for a number of classes and the transition of trainers doesn’t skip a beat. Nicole is hands-on and even though she wasn’t there for every course she manages to know each dog, their handlers and all of our strengths & weaknesses and helps us work through different scenarios with ease. We are lifers at Maximum K9 and couldn’t recommend the entire team more. Moose gives them 4 Paws 🐾🐾🐾🐾
