At Mattox Dog Training Academy your dog is family in their care. Not only do you get a highly trained dog, you know that your pet is being treated as if they never left home. Their facility is IMMACULATE!!! The are extremely knowledgeable and pass that onto you for continued trading at home. They work with local rescue, Mikey’s Chance, and my rescue dog was boarded and trained. I couldn’t be happier! They gave him a second chance at life and I’m FOREVER grateful to them! Thanks for loving and caring for the dogs!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

Literally saved our pups life. Once done with the 12 week training our dogs anxiety issues and slight aggression was manageable but we also understood how to approach our dog long-term and now 2 years later she's one of the best dogs I could ever hope for. We tried other places before here and to say the least we were extremely disappointed.

I am a puppy raiser for Service Peace Warriors (SPW) a non profit organization that provides service dogs to honorably discharged veterans at no cost. The revenue from and expertise of Mattox Dog Training Academy (MDTA) goes directly to support the work of SPW. They breed their dogs for service and when I get a 4 month old puppy to raise, it is amazing how well trained they already are!
As I go through the community with my puppies in-training, I have come across so many people who have had their dogs trained by Chance and Mary. Everyone I have met was over- the- top happy with the results of their dog training.
So, if you want a REALLY well trained dog AND want to support our veterans with service related disabilities, MDTA is the only choice!

My 1 year old American Bulldog was out of control. She wasTearing up couches, dog beds, shoes and anything else she could find. She then became very food aggressive. In 2 months Mattox Dog Training Academy was able to correct the problems. She came home with manners and respect. I can't thank Mary and Chance enough for taking the time to figure my dog out.
