Maryland K9 Training

I contacted Maryland K9 training after having a serious issue with my 2 dogs on a Sunday. Labrina replied early the next day and tried to accommodate my crazy schedule. When times were difficult to book she contacted Kyle who was willing to add additional time to his day to make my schedule work for an in home consultation. My dog's walk so much more obediently now and we have learned how to properly advocate for them so they do not have issues or resource guarding with each other again. Kyle has also helped my 15 year old teach our younger dog some skills and tricks that she had not been able accomplish. I look forward to working on these skills with my dogs and intend on doing any other round of training in the future. Great communication and lots of help from Kyle, who always confirmed appointments and quickly followed up messages...Highly recommend.

No words for how much we love Labrina! We rescued 2 puppies last year who came from 2 different but equally bad situations. Our Beckett was a discarded husky/poodle mix who was discarded once the “breeders” discovered poodle mixes can, in fact, shed…a lot. He has the stubbornness and intelligence of a poodle and the working drive of a husky. Our Belle was surrendered after neighbors had reported a litter of puppies being kept in the snow, with no shelter. She’s a husky/ golden mix and a BIG loving girl, but had never been inside before we got her and knew nothing about house manners. After exhausting many other options, we sent both pups for a 2 week Board and Train with Labrina and what she accomplished in that time is PHENOMENAL! We still have many sessions and follow up work to do, but our pups came back happy, polite, and patient. Her passion and talent for what she does is so evident from the first moment she interacts. If you ask about her history, you will learn she was loved/trained dogs through EXTREME behaviors and she clearly lives what she does. She is worth every penny.

Kyle has been an amazing trainer for our 11 month old golden retriever. At 5 months old, our dog had some of the worst food aggression any of us had seen as a puppy. Within 2 months of following Kyle’s plan our dog has been been free from any food aggression and is very calm when it comes to feeding. Professional and safe training methods to help with obedience training as well. Very responsive and extremely flexible with scheduling too!

Kyle is amazing to work with and knowledgeable! Maryland K9 was our last resort and we wish we would have found them much sooner, especially after wasting so much money on other trainers and training centers! Our dog loves him! We are learning so much and are so grateful. He communicates effectively snd demonstrates the techniques and mskes himself available if we have questions etc. after the lesson. Nancy and Vince
