Marvel K9 | Dog Training Academy

Hi, Xaviera here! We joined Marvel K9 in 2023 when I got my first Belgian Malinois puppy. To say the least it was extremely fortuitous that we found marvel! Otherwise half of the problems we hear about would have been unavoidable, but thanks to Francois and Irene we (I as the handler) have been able to be on this amazing journey of owning such an intelligent creature! We specifically did The Academy Program which guided us from when she was a puppy to when she was about 1 yr to 1.5 yrs. We still go back to do intermittent training to make changes or do updates on continuing training. As for daycare it’s Great! Suki always comes back super happy and looking like she hada lot of fun, Rebekah and Chris always take care of our girl and I have no worries or concerns when leaving her.

We WERE lost and overwhelmed, but NOW we have direction and peace…all THANKS TO MARVEL K9! We had nothing but love in our hearts when we rescued Chewie (a cute, pudgy, fudgy chocolate lab-mix furball puppy)…but despite our best intentions, we were ill-prepared for what we were in for. With 4 small kids and 6 cats, Chewie’s boundless excitement, endless energy and sheer strength quickly had us spinning…our home soon felt completely out of balance. For over a year, we tried everything we could to create a calm, structured environment, but the stress kept growing…for us and Chewie. There is so much more I could go into, but Chewie completed their training program and came back to us a transformed dog. He’s still our same sweet boy, but now he listens, relaxes, and fits into our family in a way we honestly weren’t sure was possible. Our cats now strut around him without fear and our children sweetly pet and hug him while he looks up to us with his grateful and loving eyes. He is now truly part of the family, NOT just part of the chaos (which naturally comes with 4 kids anyway, ha!). On top of that, he was having ear infections that was resulting in costly vet visits. They identified they were likely tied to food allergies from his kibble. They guided us toward a whole food/raw diet, and the change in his health has been just as amazing as the change in his behavior. No more ear infections = Happy dog = No more vet bills = Happy human 😊 Our home is no longer chaotic…it’s peaceful. Chewie is no longer on edge…he’s thriving.
