Mariah Dog Training

Mariah was very knowledgeable and I loved how it was all positive reinforcements. Our rescue dog is super fearful of people, especially males. Barks and growls at all people, especially coming to the house or simply walking by our house! She helped with great strategies in trying to change his reaction to these “fearful” situations. He has improved greatly and it helped us in learning how to train him. She knows her stuff! It was amazing to watch her work with our dog. She also prepares a notebook with all of her helpful advice and references! Thank you Mariah!

Is your dog the cutest thing in the world but a pain in the butt? Do you often consider avoiding having people over, cringe at leaving the house for more than 30 seconds or forget about eating like a proper adult at a table for fear of losing your dinner to your furry friend upon blinking? If so, call Mariah now! Like right now, stop reading and call her. Now. My 2.5 year old dog that we rescued at 11 weeks was a hot mess (mainly because of her incredibly well intentioned, loving yet clueless owners). I was losing it with her crazy behavior until a kind soul connected me with Mariah. Mariah has patiently worked with our dog Luna and us human parents which, 3/4 into the program, has already completely transformed our home dynamics. We literally could not open the door without Luna bolting, eat without putting her in a crate, have anyone over without her jumping all over them non stop, feed her without her jumping on her plate or call for her to come back where she actually complied (driving around the neighborhood with treats to bribe her in back home while cursing and praying under your breath - sounds familiar anyone?). We still have a few classes left and a few things to work through (she will bark at anything or anyone that dares to touch her “queendom” (our entire street) and bark at some dogs and humans while walking). That said Mariah has already shown us strategies on how to deal with it to make it less stressful on her, us and the recipients of the barks and to continue to reinforce a change of behavior which I am confident we will achieve with repetition. Thanks Mariah! I wish we had called you as soon as we got our dog 2 years earlier.

Her type of training is wonderful. She comes to your home, teaches you how to do the lesson and no painful methods. I have heard from several people how the dog will perform for the trainer at their business but not at home. She has been very patient with me as well as my dog. She is very knowledgeable and not as arrogant as some trainers I talked to. My daughter recommended her from her time in a dog rescue group
