Mariah Dog Training

Mariah was recommended to us by a neighbor who also used her services. We had been fostering dogs for a couple of years before adopting a dog that started to be aggressive and extremely hard to control on leash. Mariah is extremely knowledgeable and taught us so much about dog behavior both in person and through her on line training. She not only turned around our dog’s behavior- very positively commented on by neighbors – but taught us so much. I really like that she takes time to really get to know your dog and to understand the problems and triggers before recommending and teaching us specific training in the one on one sessions. She has also been very responsive to any questions or needed follow up. Thanks Mariah!

We adopted 2 strays this past summer and realized soon that we needed professional help. After reviewing several trainers we decided to enlist the help of Mariah Hinds. Mariah has come to our home and helped us control bad habits and instill good manners using positive reenforcement methods. Our boys are now obeying simple commands and on their way to becoming well mannered! Mariah knows her stuff and any dog owner will benefit from her expertise.

I never write reviews so the fact that I am writing this says something in and of itself. We had a great experience with Mariah and would (and have) wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone with a dog. I have a working line Belgian Malinois and she worked great with him. I am very picky about who I let train my dogs and she had all the credentials I was looking for: experience with working breeds, certifications from professional training organizations and groups, trains and titles her own dogs, and most importantly uses science-based training methods. She really knows her stuff and was great to work with. Will definitely be going back to her with any future training needs or concerns!

Mariah has been wonderful to work with. She has been working with our almost a year old sheepadoodle and our seven year old golden doodle and has helped to get rid of undesirable behaviors. Before working with Mariah, both dogs would pull us on walks. After working with them on how to walk on a leash and follow my lead with Mariah, they now look to me to set the pace. From house training to learning how to curb rough play or mouthiness to how to greet guests, Mariah was able to offer a solution that helped to redirect the behaviors. I’m so glad I called her when I did and am continuing to implement the tools she has given me to better train my dogs!
