From small pups to large dogs, we train them all! Marcum K9 Obedience is a premier in-home training facility located in Canal Winchester, Ohio. We specialize in teaching your dog to focus with high distractions both on and off leash. Our large selection of programs address a variety of behaviors from basic and advanced obedience, aggression, low confidence, house breaking and more. We believe dogs learn better in a home environment and being worked around real life situations. This is why we work with your best friends in our own home. This allows us to incorporate real life distractions at a rate that best suits each dog.

We offer a variety of board and train programs ranging from 3 days to 45 days of training. Your dog will be trained at our in-house training facility in central Ohio while facing everyday distractions. We'll also take time to teach the owners all commands and have training sessions with them as well

How pricey is it?
It really depends on what kind of training and how far you want to take it! I feel that they are the best! Mia is on her second 10-day training phase!

I paid $850 for 5 days... However we had to pick her up early, because she went into heat. We will continue the training after that!

We really like the experience and background Allison offers with our breed and the patience she has exhibited to us being new dog owners, with a very high energy pup. We had been looking at trainers and are happy we chose to go to Marcum, and will be continuing our training there!

Unfortunately, I can’t recommend obedience training here. My dog is already well behaved and understands most commands, but needed improvement with her behavior around other dogs. This was the entire purpose of her training.......This was not targeted during her stay; although, I mentioned this several times to the owner and even typed out detailed notes. I wish there would have been more communication if this was something that wasn’t possible to work on. Although the facility and staff seem nice, I am very disappointed.

She taught me the proper commands and we practiced what he had learned the day I picked him up. They will answer your texts or emails during the training and after your dog is home. They send you pictures and videos during the dogs training. They truly love dogs it is so apparent. If you are hesitating DON'T....it is worth every penny. Wonderful and loving people. We signed our dog up for the 15 day board and train. Before his training, Cubby was jumping our six foot privacy fence, and bolting through open doors. We signed our dog up for the 15 day board and train. Before his training, Cubby was jumping our six foot privacy fence, and bolting through open doors. He would run into traffic, across streets, and never responded to his name. Because of his behavior, we didn't take him anywhere for fear he would run away. We have had him back for just over a week now, and he has been going everywhere with us while I continue to work with him on his commands. He is like a different dog!! He is happier, more confident, and totally responsive when I'm talking to him. My family is forever indebted to Marcum!! There are no words to adequately express how appreciative we are. I truly believe his life has been saved by this training.
