Jillian did wonders to help my dog improve his behavior! We worked with Jillian in private lessons to improve my dog's behavior on-leash and off-leash, his tendency to jump on people and to charge the front door when we have guests, his etiquette around other dogs, and his overall obedience. Jillian was incredibly knowledgable and skilled in communicating the best way to help my dog learn. My dog has made tremendous progress through Jillian's training, and now I feel equipped to continue encouraging my dog's good behavior. I better understand how to communicate with my dog and I have confidence to take my dog in public, to introduce him to people of all ages, and to allow him near other dogs without worry! Jillian is an excellent resource whether your dog needs help with basic training or with more advanced skills. I highly recommend her to any and every dog owner!

When we brought Espi to the puppy package training we were a bit desperate. Our new pup seemed to be out of control. Once we started working with Jillian we noticed a huge change in Espi and in ourselves. Training a dog involved just as much training a human how to train a dog, which is exactly the approach Jillian takes. Now that we have reconceptualized training as an act of communication we have the tools to continue to work with her so she will be even more well behaved. Thank you, Jillian for all of your help!

I came home to my first dog Love, Jak, and he needed some obedience classes as he fed off the other two dogs in the house which was not serving anyone well. I found Jillian at Mannered Mutts Training, LLC, and she was perfect for Jak (an American Staffordshire, a pit bull breed), and I. Jak loves food, people, sticks, balls, and is eager for love. Jillian has a way with teaching puppers; she figures out their learning style and they become a happier, smarter pup without complaint. Jak is so better for the training and if he needs more I will always go back to Mannered Mutts Training.
