Alex and crew are top notch. He is a dog whisperer and understands dogs intellectually and intuitively. He also communicates very effectively and teaches you how to integrate the behavioral techniques into your family's routine. He is reliable, hard working and simply excellent at what he does. Arielle has been an incredible addition to the team. She has continued to reinforce better behavior on walks and when boarding our Bernedoodle this past weekend, showed him so much love and we couldn't have been more at ease, knowing that she was taking care of him as if he was her own puppy. The team truly feels as if they are part of our family!

Alex’s sessions are amazing. His credentials are top tier. And he is the ultimate professional: he is friendly to both dog and human. The sessions are structured but flexible: ranging from introductions, to public spaces and other dogs. One of his many strengths is that he focuses on communication: teaching me how to read my dog read me. This taught me a lot of patience for my puppy, and also I learned that when I’m calm, my pup is calm. Also, I learned how to interact with other dogs and people in different situations that used to lead to less stress and uncertainty for my pup! Best of all he also teaches without judgement, so the experience is fun and rewarding for both me and the dog. I highly recommend him for all training and other canine needs.

Alex Cost is a superb trainer. Hire him! He can solve issues with pushy dogs, which my pit bull mix is, improving the human-animal connection. He is a patient instructor and worked on in-home barking, my dog ‘going to his bed’, meeting new people, leash skills, as well as reactivity training outside around other dogs. We worked too on implicit cues, e.g. the dog owner presents a dog with enough opportunities to learn a command, such as approaching the front door and sitting, but without saying a word. It takes patience; however, developing canine focus, not control, aids in harmonious relations and in a dog knowing whom to look to when unsure, namely his human. I would trust Alex with all my animals. His expertise shines through. He is completely devoted to creating the best outcomes for pets and owners. He will meet you where you are and then educate you gently, persistently and effectively. I learned so much. Dog training is never done and I know my dog has an advocate in Alex, who really can answer all questions and guide you both to master skills.
