Jennifer and Aaron did a great job with our 5.5yo golden retriever. He had previously gone to training before and it didn’t stick, but the 3 week board and train has made a huge difference in his behavior! Jennifer and Aaron’s techniques, attentiveness, and overall passion for what they do stand out amongst others! We would definitely recommend Lucky Star Dog Training to others! Their boarding and day play option for previous trainees is an added bonus too!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We cannot say enough amazing things about Lucky Star Dog Training! Our dog Diesel is a super sweet and energetic pup, but before training, he really struggled with listening—especially when people came over. He’d jump on anyone who walked through the door and was nearly impossible to manage on walks. After training with Lucky Star, the transformation has been incredible. Diesel is still his fun, loving, energetic self—but now he actually listens! Walks are so much more enjoyable, and having guests over is no longer stressful. The change has been such a relief for our whole family. Jen and her husband are truly exceptional. They go above and beyond—not just during the training, but afterwards too. Jen regularly checks in to see how Diesel is doing and is always available for questions or advice. That kind of support is rare and so appreciated. We also board Diesel with them when we travel, and it’s such a comfort knowing he’s in a safe, fun environment with other dogs to play with. He’s always so happy to go! We couldn't be happier with the incredible progress Moose, our energetic boxer, made after completing the Lucky Star Dog Training 3-week board and train program. Since returning home, his behavior has transformed both inside and outside the house. On walks, the days of constant pulling are behind us, and he can now even enjoy off-leash time in low-distraction environments (though we're still honing his recall around other playful pups!). Indoors, Moose is remarkably calmer and settles into his "place" command much more readily. If he gets a little too wound up, sending him to his spot helps him relax and calm down significantly faster than before. Overall, we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Jennifer and Aaron clearly possess a remarkable knack—and immense patience—for dog training, fostering crystal-clear communication between pets and their humans. We're so excited for all the future adventures we can now share with Moose, which simply wouldn't have been possible before!
