Loyalty and Legacy

I reached out to Jade in September, desperate for help for both my dog and myself. Evie is a reactive dog with very little confidence after experiencing significant trauma early in her life. When she was just four months old, she was attacked by a cat, which resulted in a long, stressful recovery that included quarantine, round the clock medication, and eye drops to save her eye. That experience completely changed both of our lives. On top of that, Evie has male specific trauma, making her much more reactive toward men than women. As time went on, her behaviors worsened. She began growling and nipping, struggled to warm up to new people, and couldn’t handle being around others in public spaces. We had to stop going to the dog park, then eventually stop taking walks altogether because she would lunge and bark at anyone nearby. Our lives became centered around avoiding people, and the stress was overwhelming. I knew Evie wasn’t mean — she was anxious, fearful, and traumatized - I knew something had to change. From the very first interaction, Jade was incredible. She responded quickly, truly listened, validated our experience, and saw Evie for who she really is. Her pricing is extremely reasonable, with built in discounts that even included bonus training sessions after Evie’s initial program. Those sessions allowed us to work together in real world environments like Lowe’s and my home, which made a huge difference. The progress Evie has made is beyond anything I thought was possible. Almost every day I have proud mom moments watching her confidence grow. I finally feel like I have control over our lives again instead of constantly hiding and stressing. A huge part of Jade’s work is training the owner, and I’m so grateful to now fully understand what Evie needs and how to confidently support her. I don’t know where we would be without Jade. She truly changed our lives, and it makes me emotional to even write this. We love her so much and plan to keep her in our lives for as long as possible.

We can’t say enough amazing things about Jade and Galaxy Dog Training. Our 90-pound American Bully, LeeRoy, was an adorable but completely unruly handful- big, strong, and full of energy, with no peace in sight at home and a little bit of food aggression. We enrolled him in the four-week board-and-train program, and when he came back, it was like we had a brand-new dog. The transformation was unbelievable.
