Lone Star State K9 LLC

My 2 yr old rescue - Reign - and I did training with Lone Star over a 2-3 month period. Reign is a GS mix rescued in downtown SA with heartworms. Immediately pre-training, he completed all of his treatments and now is heartworm negative. Reign had some leash reactivity with other dogs and animals which resulted in not getting enough walks or socializing adequately because of being unable to address the issue. Our trainer, Jenn, gave both of us significant leash training and helped me gain confidence to walk him safely on leash without lunging, pulling, or barking. She had me work him around other dogs and distractions regularly, so we both knew how to respond. I’ve had big dogs my whole life and I did not expect such a massive result, especially with a dog where I had no idea what he went through prior to rescue. We now can go just about anywhere together and it has really built our relationship. To say I am forever grateful to LSSK9 is an understatement (and Reign loved all the hot dogs).

Five Stars Isn’t Enough! Sending our two babies off for training was one of the hardest decisions we've made. They’re not just pets they’re our babies and a huge part of our family. I was scared and nervous about the whole process, but from the very beginning, the team completely put my mind at ease. They treated our dogs like their own, and the level of care, compassion, and professionalism they showed was truly above and beyond. We received regular updates, photos, and videos that not only showed the progress our pups were making, but also reassured us that they were safe, happy, and thriving. They didn’t just train our dogs they supported us as owners, helping us understand how to maintain the work they’d done and create an even stronger bond with our pups. We are beyond grateful and can’t recommend them highly enough. Shiloh is so easy to talk to and truly understood my fears about leaving them. They even took the best pictures for Easter and Mother’s Day as they were gone through the holidays. Absolutely without a doubt it was and has been an amazing experience.

The team is incredibly caring and responsive, treating each dog as if it were their own. Our pup has not only learned so much but has also had a wonderful time.
