Lisa's K-9 Kids

If you have a puppy or are thinking of getting a puppy, Lisa's training is a must. We have only ever had middle aged rescues but when a puppy fell into our lap, we knew we needed training. I love that the training takes place in a group and in public places so it's much easier for dogs to generalize their skills. We finally have a dog that is able to go to events, parades and all over without behaviors. We will never get another dog without utilizing Lisa.

Lisa is the dog magician! My Shih Tzu puppy and I started taking her classes right when I brought him home at 11 weeks. After completing 1st and 2nd grade, we took a pause on lessons and his behavior started to seriously deteriorate. So much so that I called Lisa crying one night. She provided guidance and support to get us back on track to good behavior. Her lessons are not just for the dog to learn good manners but also for the owner to understand how dogs perceive commands and the world around them. She teaches that dog training is just as much for the parent/owner as it is for the dog. Everything from desensitizing to leash etiquette to distance and distractions. Not to mention, it is so great getting to go to class and for my dog to see all of his friends and for me to connect with other loving dog parents. It's the support group I never knew I needed :) I truly contribute the companionship I have with my dog today to Lisa's K-9 Kids.
