Our little pooch Cooper has been attending life is dog for the last 6 years! To say we love Life is dog is an understatement. Cooper still runs to the door 6 years later. The staff is amazing! And he has made soo many puppy friends. Cooper is one of the best behaved dogs I have come across ( not just saying that bc he is mine) but I swear the training and play time at camp has helped groomed him into being the best dog around. I highly recommend LID for both camp and training!

What a positive experience we've had with this wonderful team of trainers! Our 2-yr-old American Bulldog Pete was rescued from AL earlier this year, and we adopted him in May. He'd clearly had a challenging early life. We experienced severe leash reactivity on walks, and we wanted to get help with that quickly. Right from the initial consult we knew we'd come to the right place. We started with basic obedience and then moved on to leash reactivity training. Dana and Nance helped us to learn and apply a number of positive, successful techniques which built both Pete's confidence and ours. We started training sessions at the facility, then progressed to a local park when weather allowed, for real-time walks. We loved the park visits--having a skilled trainer along offering feedback is excellent. Pete has progressed beautifully, and we have a toolbox of skills we can use for life! We just completed the Reactive Dog Training program with Life is Dog and couldn’t be happier with the training we received and the tools we have been able to take away from our sessions. After finding out we were pregnant, our 3 year old boxer started showing signs of aggression to strangers while on leash (lunging, jumping, barking). We knew we needed to correct this behavior asap and are very thankful to Dana and Nance who taught us proper techniques to apply in these situations. They were flexible working with us and our dogs’ triggers. We started training sessions at the facility and progressed to a local park to work in real time situations. We really enjoyed our park visits and having Dana and Nance there to provide feedback and set us up with the right tools to succeed. We would definitely recommend Life is Dog to anyone looking for training services!

I volunteer at the animal shelter Save a Dog in Sudbury and Nance has been helping us train some of our more challenging dogs. It's remarkable to see the progress that they make with her and how much they enjoy their training sessions! Nance adapts her training sessions to the needs of the individual dog and she is quick to assess how they learn best. She is always patient, kind, and encouraging. We are so lucky to have her expertise, she has changed the lives of so many dogs!
