I cannot say enough wonderful things about John and his incredible training and boarding services. When I rescued Enzo, he was anxious, destructive, and had no potty or crate training. It was an overwhelming adjustment for him, but after just one week with John, everything changed. The combination of John’s expert guidance, the support of a mentor dog, and the pack environment brought out a calm, confident, and loving Enzo. Following that, the 10-day boarding was just as exceptional—Enzo was surrounded by love, fun, and top-notch care. Not only is John a gifted trainer, but he also provides the best nutrition—hand-picked, high-quality food. His professionalism, care, and effectiveness are unmatched. John did amazing work with Sadie, our 6 month Boxer. She was jumping up on everyone who came into the house and couldn't calm herself down. After 1 week with John, Sadie's behavior improved drastically. The jumping up has been mostly resolved, and she recalls with ease. Most importantly, John taught our family how to continue the work he started. Sadie has been home a week now, and the program Johm started with her has continued to work. Sadie now accesses her calm state of mind on a regular basis. She is still the same sweet girl we always had, but now she so much more of a joy to be around. I highly recommend John!

I cannot recommend John highly enough. When I started working with him, my six-year-old dog was an anxious, destructive disaster. I honestly thought some behaviors were just permanent at that point. Within an incredibly short time, John completely transformed not only my dog’s behavior, but also my confidence as an owner. He was patient, calm, knowledgeable, and unbelievably intuitive with dogs. He took the time to understand my dog’s anxiety, and the results have been life-changing. My dog now walks calmly, listens consistently, and genuinely seems happier, confident and more secure. Friends and family have started asking me if this is the same dog! That’s how much of a transformation she has made. What impressed me most was that John trained me just as much as he trained my dog. He explained everything clearly, made the process manageable, and was always encouraging and professional. You can tell he genuinely cares about the dogs and the families he works with. He’s always available for my calls or texts (which is a lot), and is committed to helping me keep my dog on track. John is amazing! We have a unique lifestyle so he adjusted his training session to be able to accomdate our nomad life. We had been working with our dogs with a different style of training for 6 weeks and started to go backwards. We were feeling extremly defeated and felt like we were failing our dogs. Within our first session with our two dogs after visiting John, they have done a complete 180 in their attitude during training sessions. They are much more attentive and motivated with the style and techniques John uses. We are on the end of day 2 of training and they are listening and learning so quickly! I am extremly thankful that we ran into him while in town. If we werent leaving so soon, I would 100% trust him to board our dogs, unlike the previous trainer we had seen, and his prices are extremly reasonable. He loves what he does and it reflects in the way he treats the dogs and you as their owners. If you are on the fence about training, go see John!!
