Hi, my name is Kris, and I am a professional dog trainer with a passion for unlocking the true desire each dog has for pleasing their owner. As an active duty soldier, I saw first hand how far a well trained dog will go to demonstrate their loyalty. Your dog wants that relationship with you too and with the right training goals and methods, you and your dog can know a disciplined and fulfilling bond.

I took my puppy Gracie here for training. I had initially taken her thru another program that didn’t work for us. I am so glad I met Chris and Nicole. Today is her last day of training. I have gotten so much more out of this training program. Twice the amount of day training. She was also taken on outings multiple times to work on her control and behavior. I am grateful for the 4 weeks of training and the teaching impulse control . This was a big one for her. I feel ready to take the reins and continue to see her progress.

Our dogs love Kris and Kris has really helped us with our newest dog. She walks on leash with no issues and she has near perfect recall. Kris was professional and knowledgeable and our dogs trust him. This is our 5th dog over the years and Kris has been the best trainer we have ever had. It was such a big help to have Kris come work with us in the forest where we expect our dogs to behave. We also met Kris in town where our “country” dogs think things are scary. Kris reassured our dog that all the sounds and noises were ok.

I can’t say enough about Legion K9. Our black Lab Holly was out of control when someone came to the door, or on a leash. They turned Hurricane Holly into a calm, well trained dog. Each and every trainer at Legion K9 is absolutely amazing. Worth every penny.

I contacted Legion K'9 last year seeking help for my dogs leash reactivity.
I visted the facility and spoke with Kris about my dogs behavior.
The facility was very nice, very clean and Kris was very knowledgeable.
I originally wanted to enroll him in the daycare program but was told my dog really did not need that, Kris was very honest and helpful.
His recommendation was to have him work in public one on one with Nicole Powell.
After meeting Nicole and having her work with my dog I was very confident with her ability to help my dog.
It took only a few lessons for him to respond very positively to her guidance and confidence I also discovered his issue had alot to do with my anxiety whenever we encountered another dog.
In a very short time he took a walk with a strange dog for the first time in his almost 4 years.
Nicole is excellent in her knowledge of k-9 behavior and her handling of dogs.
My dog loved her and respected her as do I.
It is so nice to be able to take my dog in public now.
I highly recommend Legion K-9 for any issue your dog may have or for any advanced training.
They are the best !!
