We take all client experiences seriously and I appreciate the opportunity to discuss your concerns further during our conversation earlier today.<br>At Legend Acres, our approach to training is based on force-free, fear-free methods. This means we do not use physical punishment, such as scruffing or pinning dogs down, as these techniques can cause fear and distrust. Instead, we emphasize redirection and positive reinforcement to help build trust between you and your dog.<br>Our group classes are designed to teach handlers how to train their dogs through consistent practice and homework, which is provided in follow-up emails. During the sessions you've attended, the "sit" command was introduced in Week 2, and recall was covered in Week 4 and included in the homework. Additionally, "stay" is covered later in the course, specifically in Week 6, which you haven't reached yet. I understand you're frustrated with the progress, but learning is a process that requires ongoing practice.<br>We are here to support you, and I suggested private sessions to provide more one-on-one assistance. As we discussed, you were removed from group classes due to the physical handling methods you used, which do not align with our training philosophy. However, you were not removed from the program, and we offered you a credit toward private training sessions to address your concerns in a more personalized way.<br>I understand you've chosen to pursue training with another company, and we respect that decision. Should you decide to return to Legend Acres in the future, we'd be happy to apply your remaining credit toward private training sessions.
