Learning to Dog Training and Enrichment

Marsha’s classes have taught us so much and made puppy ownership way easier and fun for everyone involved!! Our Golden Retriever Remi puppy adores Marsha and loves class at Learning to Dog. The teaching style is amazing and creates a very welcoming environment! The positive reinforcement was exactly what we were looking for and has really allowed our relationship with Remi to bloom. I highly recommend Learning to Dog!!

We love Marsha!! Our 1 year old mixed breed pup adores her. We’ve taken the Puppy 101 class, a class for adolescent dogs, and attended puppy school. The biggest benefit is that WE learn so much… We’ve learned a lot about how to help him be his best self, respond to challenging situations in a positive way, and identify safe and fun interactions between our pup and other dogs, to name just a few examples. We have recommended Marsha’s services to our friends and family, and we will continue to sing her praises and take her classes. Thank you, Marsha!!

Marsha is fantastic with dogs and taught us and our Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy so much in her Learning to Puppy 201 class! Her class was a lifesaver because it taught us how to help our dog be calm and settle around other people and other dogs, which seemed impossible before her class. I love that Marsha made it fun for everyone involved and that it was all positive reinforcement, no force or fear-based training. That being said, bring LOTS of treats with you, including lower value treats like kibble and high-value treats like turkey or hotdog to help your pup be successful. Marsha is also great about reading dogs’ body language and knowing what they need in that moment to support them, and passing that info and tips along. Would highly recommend, and we’ll likely be going back for her teenager dog class or some manners courses!
