Meagan is the best! I’ve worked with her for two of my dogs (a Corgi and a GSP) for a variety of different training programs: puppy board and train, off leash e-collar training, and confidence building. I’m always amazed at Meagan’s talent, patience, and ability to shape/modify a dog’s behavior in a short timeframe. She has a knack for understanding each dog’s unique situation and exactly what they need. The picture and video updates throughout the programs are something I appreciate and make being without your pup a little easier. I will definitely be turning to Meagan and team for any future dog training needs, and I’m looking forward to using their boarding services when I travel.

Lydia and Meagan tag-teamed our complex, nervous hound puppy, Gio. With a mix of boarded training and guided training visits with all of us, Learn and Live Dog Training got our pup trained and confident! Without their help he would not have learned and maintained the following key skills that make all our lives better: crate training for separation anxiety, heeling on leash, e-collar reinforced recall for off leash time, polite introduction behaviors with new people and dogs, place and settling patiently. Their recognition of his motivations to receive praise and explore his surroundings enabled them to harness his attention and use those drives for learning. Gio is now 2 years out of training and still maintains the daily skills they taught - we get compliments on his behavior all the time from perfect strangers and we always credit Lydia and Meagan!

Lydia is a fantastic trainer and achieves truly impressive results, both with dogs and with their owners. Equally important to Lydia’s incredible work with Tilly was her coaching sessions to train us so we can do what’s needed to maintain Tillly's training and allow us to have an even better relationship with our pup.
