I dropped my dog off with Mark on 7/16/2021. The main reasoning for her going to live in training was to get her more socialized with other dogs, in a controlled setting, as I was starting to see some aggression with other dogs. Mark never once was concerned that only having her there for one week would be an issue. I previously had my dog in live in training with Mark the year before for the 2 week program and she came home with more skills and more well behaved then before. After her being there for 5 days this time, I reached out because I had not heard any updates and was told she had not been around any other dogs. When I picked her up on the 7th day I was told they could not even get the collar on her till the 4th day to even go on a walk. I would have liked an update that they were having so many problems with my dog that they spent half the time there with her basically boarding her. When we got home after training my dog was more skittish and barked more on her walks. Not like her at all. I have emailed my concerns to only be offered to pay for more training at the full price. I will update this review to say that all though Mark was not successful with my dog on this visit he was very helpful with her training as a puppy. Covid has not helped with my dog and her socialization and I have hopes in the future of her being more reactive to gradual socialization. Mark has graciously offered a partial refund.

We had our dog Leif do a board and train living with Mark for 5 weeks in March. Leif had been showing some dominance / aggression issues towards other dogs and nothing we were doing worked. We are so thankful that we sent him to Mark. It has been a complete night and day experience. We left Leif there at a time when he was extremely wary of other dogs, very dominant, etc. We were able to see progress via pictures / videos on the website, but when we picked him up he was a totally different dog. Yes, he tried to test us for a few days (Mark warned us about this), but once he realized he had to continue adhering to the new rules, he has been incredibly well behaved. Not only is his recall and general obedience much better, but he has been friendly to dogs both on and off leash and even played with a new dog at the park. So nice that he was able to stay at Mark's home versus at a kennel and we were really please with the overall cost / value. Really recommend Mark, Angela and Leader of the Pack Dog Training in general!

Our dog Zeus attended live in training with Mark after attacking and nearly killing our other dog. We were impressed, when after several weeks with Mark, to see videos of Zeus in the pack with other dogs. After Zeus came home it took the humans a while to trust Zeus again. But now 4 months latter Zeus is safely living with his Doggie brother and enjoys the occasional visit from his dog friend. He definitely needs regularly reminders that he is not the leader of this pack, but as long as we remain consistent with clear bounds he has shown major improvement in his bossy behavior in the house. Thank you Mark for teaching us the tools we needed and showing us the possibilities!

Mark at LOTP is amazing! He explained things in ways that made a ton of sense, had some amazing strategies for us and really listened as we went through our situation with our dog. The whole experience was easy, intuitive, and I feel so much better about the situation with our dog than I have in months. Without getting into details our dog was aggressive with our child. I have a plan that I'm ready to tackle to get our dog where he needs to be. If you're having issues with your dog and you're not sure what to do, I highly recommend leader of the pack.Thank you! Edit: this was a virtual initial behavior consultation and it was worth every penny. I was a little skeptical of it being virtual but that was absolutely not an issue.
