do you have any recomendations for trainers who can help w bigger dogs from the shelter? trying to get them leash trained and basic manners so they can get adopted. some of them have been there too long! Please if you know of any
Hello, thank you for the message. We train all sizes. At this time we don’t have the personnel to train pro bono to help dogs get adopted. With that said we donate and support the Delaware Humane Society on a monthly basis. It is a goal of our company to help train dogs in the shelters to help get adopted but we are just not there yet. Recently a german shepard was added to our home. She is 4 years old and great with people. She has attacked one of our other dogs unprovoked 3 times. Will Training get her to stop? The other dog is much smaller and I don't want her hurt.

We bring our lab and cavalier here, and they have been so happy! I was nervous about bringing my cavalier anywhere since she was a rescue and is really scared of most people, but each time we go to Lead the Way she has an easier time separating from us, and the pictures show both dogs having the time of their lives! I love that we can get them groomed too (no one has done a better job on our lab's nails). Scheduling is also super easy and all through the app. I'm so happy we found Lead the Way!
We absolutely love Lead the Way! Our boy, Sisco 🐾 just spent time with them while we were away on vacation. We missed him so much but they sent pictures and communication and we loved picking him up freshly bathed with a nail trim. Highly recommend 🙌
Great staff, they always are quick to answer if we call wanting to check in on our dog! Will always come back to this place for training and boarding in the future
The team here always go the extra mile and I have no doubts my dog is being taken care of. They don’t charge extra for play time or toilet breaks which makes the price very reasonable. My pup is always super excited to arrive and I’m happy to travel a little further to be sure he gets great care.
