We also sell game birds including quail, chukar, pheasant, and Rio Grande Turkey. In addition, we sell round hay bales when available. Visitation by appointment only.

We had the opportunity to know Michael in a professional setting as well as a friendly setting. My husband had the privilege of working with Michael at past employment and he enjoyed learning and watching Michael do his thing everyday. He has worked magic on dogs that others simply thought couldn’t be trained. He also trained our lab Blue in general obedience and started in force fetch. We were and have always been highly impressed with Michael’s work. He’s a great trainer and even better friend!

My 6 month old Labrador was with Michael Thuman for 3 months for basic obedience, introduction to guns and birds and force fetch. He built a strong foundation that allowed her to move on to her next level of training. Great grounds with good water and plenty of access to live birds. I highly recomend Michael and Lavaca River Ranch for gun dog training.

Michael Thuman did excellent work with my boy Moses. I don’t know what I would do with out these guys. I recommend to all my friends and family this is the best service you will find in the lone star state.
