From basic obedience and advanced off leash training to aggression, reactivity, and behavior modification. I left my 12 week old puppy with Josh and she was having issues with pottying in the house, biting, barking. After leaving her with Josh our puppy is a whole new dog. She's very well behaved. Almost fully potty trained. No barking. No biting. Knows commands. I highly recommend him and would send her back for any further training.

I am very happy to give Lakota Creek Kennels 5 stars! I have a 2 1/2 yo intact Siberian husky mix breed and had searched/researched board and train facilities that I felt could meet the needs of “Archie”. Not only training needs but a facility I could feel comfortable boarding him at with no worries. I happened to find Lakota online and met with Josh at his facility. He made himself available to visit with me and was very knowledgeable, clearly had a passion for training and caring for dogs. In other words I left with confidence that Lakota was the place I’d been looking for. He advised I bring Archie for a 3 day stay to assess if Archie would succeed! Archie stayed three weeks, his jumping on people, recall, off leash walks, and other training needs were worked on during his stay! I visited several times and could see improvement in behavior each time. I now have Archie home, he is doing great, and Josh is now working with me so that I can continue the good work that has taken place. I am so thankful and appreciate the training and boarding completed by Josh and his team! If you are looking for for a great place for boarding and training your family pet, Lakota Kennels is the one! Thank you Josh!!!!

We adopted a pup from the ARL and wanted to make sure she got a good second start on life. Lakota Creek Kennels is the first place we took her for boarding and training. Excellent care and a great training!! Our Penny girl was very shy and lacked confidence. Josh worked with her, showing her humans could be loveable and trusted. He also made sure she was able to play, learn and bond with other dogs. I can 100% recommend Josh and Lakota Creek Kennels!!! With Josh's guidance, our pup has come out of her shell and is ready to take on the world!!
