Josh is an amazing trainer. I have a lab that had a serious regression on his reaction to loud noises, including gunfire. I went to Josh to talk to him about what he does with his dogs or what he thinks would be good for my dog. Before I agreed to bring the dog there, Josh had given me almost an hour of his time talking about his training method and tips for me to train the dog on my own, should I not bring him to Josh for training. Josh even gave me a frozen goose that morning to help try and build my dog’s excitement levels. My dog went from jumping at a kitchen cabinet closing to having a 12 gauge fired within a few yards and having little to no reaction in four weeks. I’m very happy with the job Josh did. He is a straightforward guy, and I would recommend anybody reading this to give him a call.

Our dog Franklin recently finished his board & train with Lakota Creek Kennels. We’re currently working with Josh on sessions following the board & our boy was so excited to see him again! We’ve had a lot of issues with basic obedience & resource guarding random objects/bones. Prior to Josh, we saw 3 other trainers & felt like nothing was working. Post board and train, we’ve already seen such a huuuge difference in our guy! He’s following commands and dropping items he never would have given up prior. Josh has been there to answer any questions we’ve had and is super knowledgeable about dogs/training. E collar training has been such a game changer for us & has really built up Franklin’s confidence. We’ve been able to establish boundaries with him & can’t thank Josh enough. We have had an awesome experience & can’t say enough amazing things about Lakota Creek Kennels. We highly, highly recommend for all of your dog needs!!
Josh is very professional and great to work with. His passion for raising and training dogs is untouched. I was blown away of how much I learned from him. I recommend using him to help you with your pet needs!
