Lake Stevens K9 Academy

This is my 3rd dog through training at the LSK9A. Saga, our smallest, is a street-find. She has improved - 1000 fold - in behavior; with people, and even our other 2 big guys. She is handling new environments with a NOTICABLE even temperament and now easily understands how to ask/listen to and with me. Trainer Mel has been a firm but kind hand on the lead for helping me learn about Saga as much as Saga is learning about the world. I don't trust just anyone with my dog. LkSK9A is that someone I do.

Barbara has been wonderful working with our very large, very energetic lab mix. After one session he was walking on a loose leash, after two he had the loose leash, halt and sit down without issues and could walk in public with out trying to jump up on people. By our third session he would sit and stay, again, while out in a busy shopping center. Our puppy is a different dog, very calm and wanting to please. I'm excited for the puppy manners classes to start.

We just finished with our pups first time being cared for and it was a success thanks to the k9 Academy. Asher is a 9 month old Great Dane, he weighs 120lbs and is a little nervous. We worried about finding a spot for him that specializes in giant breeds. We are grateful we found it. The owners have mastiffs and plenty of room for Asher to roam. They are easy to work with, sent us video updates of his progress and even gave him some eye drops that helped clean up his eye. The rates are reasonable and the owners are friendly.
