About Lake Erie K9
Veteran and Law Enforcement owned and operated, Lake Erie K9 offers dog training including basic/advanced obedience, behavior modification, and AKC canine good citizens training/testing. Obedience training and behavior modification services are offered in the privacy of your home or at our facility. A therapy dog course is also now offered. Lake Erie K9 “Bootcamp” offers basic obedience puppy/dog training in a group environment. Don’t miss our Tactical Maneuvers ( beginner agility) class this year or our Spec.Ops. advanced group obedience course in which we set up our training like any civilian police or military working dog would go through.

We find Lake Erie K9, to be very professional and effective. We've enrolled all our dogs through Lk. Erie from over 6 years ago to recently our puppies. All the trainers are very knowledgeable and experienced. We cannot recommend them enough. We started out with Mike in Puppy Boot Camp many years ago, went through at home behavior training, though CGC, and Therapy Dog training with Gary. Now enrolled our 2 newest pups in puppy classes and enjoying all the tips to help start our pups with great training so we'll have well socialized obedient pets. Thanks guys, we wouldn't consider anyone else for K9 education. Mary and J Knablein
I cannot say enough good about Gary, and Lake Erie K9. Duncan responded beautifully to the methods of training taught to us. Gary is an excellent teacher. I cannot wait for our next, more advanced session!
Just completed 6 week boot camp class with our 6 month Old English sheepdog! Thoroughly enjoyed by Jasmina and her uprights! Mike instills confidence in you and dog. Was great fun and we learned lots. Was so fun to see how the more challenging dogs in the class learned to be good behaved classmates. Already signed up for a different class.
I have had the opportunity to take a few different courses from Lake Erie K9. I have found the training to be rewarding for my cavapoo and very beneficial for me as a first time, dog owner. The knowledge and experience that the trainers at Lake Erie K9 has is unmatched and superior.
