FirstBarkWe adopted our puppy and she had some anxiety issues. When we first started class, she would growl at people and other dogs, but by the end of the class that issue had been corrected and she could follow commands. They were really helpful with teaching us how to correct her behaviors so they did not come back or get worse. Highly recommend!

Veteran and Law Enforcement owned and operated, Lake Erie K9 offers dog training including basic/advanced obedience, behavior modification, and AKC canine good citizens training/testing. Obedience training and behavior modification services are offered in the privacy of your home or at our facility. A therapy dog course is also now offered. Lake Erie K9 “Bootcamp” offers basic obedience puppy/dog training in a group environment. Don’t miss our Tactical Maneuvers ( beginner agility) class this year or our Spec.Ops. advanced group obedience course in which we set up our training like any civilian police or military working dog would go through.

We could not be more thrilled with our experience at Lake Erie K-9 Dog Training Academy! Mike is an absolutely incredible trainer—knowledgeable, patient, and truly passionate about what he does. Our Rottweiler puppy, Bane, has learned so much in just this first class series, and the progress has been remarkable. Mike’s ability to connect with both the dogs and their owners sets him apart. He explains everything clearly, makes training enjoyable, and gives us the tools to keep building at home. Bane has not only gained new skills but has also become more confident, focused, and well-mannered. This is only the beginning for us—we know we’ll be back for many more classes. If you’re looking for a trainer who genuinely cares and delivers results, look no further. I cannot recommend Mike and Lake Erie K-9 highly enough.
Tony did a wonderful job with my almost 4 month old chocolate lab. I will continue to practice what we learned in our four private classes and intend to sign up for Boot Camp in the near future. Would definitely recommend this facility.!!
