L A School For Dogs - Best Dog School in California

We have had several dogs over the years, but never before hired a professional dog trainer. But, when our 6-month old Golden Retriever became more than we could handle--- we did our research to pick she best one. It was critical to us that the training would be based on "positive reinforcement" and would focus on results on the things we didn't feel we were able to train ourselves. We picked LA School for Dogs, and I can't even start to explain how happy we were with that choice. After 3 weeks (of 4 long days per week) he is a totally different dog! Walking him has since been a pleasure and we feel confident to teach him more things on our own (now that he listens to us). Jennifer and Cat were patient and understanding with us, and Rocket could not wait to get to school every day. I give my highest possible recommendation for LA School for Dogs and recommend them nearly every day when someone says "wow, look at that well-behaved dog!". Thank you, Jennifer and Cat!

Jennifer and team are as good as it gets. We had a tough dog journey which ended up great. We started with a rescue pup that didn't fit in with our family but ended with a great Australian Shephard (a breed they recommended!). The 6-week private lessons with Jennifer were perfect for us as first time dog owners, teaching us the exact movements to make our pup Roy learn all the basic obedience commands. She has the right balance of empathy and strict guidance for dog owners. I recommend LA School for Dogs highly, worth every penny!!

Incredible! My 2 year old Aussie Billie would pull me around the neighborhood out of fear of noises and children, which she has carried since she was a puppy. We decided to do the 3 week program and now she heels right next to me on walks and has gained a ton of confidence in just 3 weeks. We will take what we learned to further her training and build upon this incredible work Jennifer has done for Billie at the LA School For Dogs. We would do it again in a heartbeat.

We couldn't recommend LA School For Dogs enough!! Our 10 month old cocker spaniel used to pull on leash, excuse himself after we would ask him to sit, had some separation anxiety, and the list goes on. Jennifer's training helped everything! Walking him is so much more enjoyable for us and him. After each week we were given a private lesson as well as worksheets to go over what we learned. Since he graduated Saturday, we are so excited to use all of the tools LASFD gave us. It's nice knowing how well they now know our pup and that we have them there if we ever have a question or want another session to brush up on his skills. Thank you LASFD!!
