Koena K9

Our Chocolate Lab, Wallen, was a terror! He would bite my arms constantly. We tried private in-home training with other trainers, we tried training him ourselves with every trick, tip, and YouTube video available! My sister had used Christa at Koena K9 for several of her dogs and my only hesitation was leaving our 5 month old puppy for 4 weeks. Once I reached my limit of being bit, we decided to give Christa a try. We have a little girl and live near a park, so it was extremely important for Wallen to listen and follow commands. We are so thankful, literally every single day, that we trusted Christa to train Wallen. He is like a new angel dog, with his same wild puppy energy and excitement, but now he listens to us and trusts us! I recommend Koena K9 to everyone 🤎

I cannot express how wonderful Christa’s program is After biting my husband, several times, Gomez was looking at having to be rehomed due to safety our home having been his second I was terrified as to what was going to happen to him if he bit another person and I couldn’t intervene. I reached out to Christa and she told me that he was not beyond saving and after about a month with her, he came home, a sweet, gentle boy and has not bitten since he may get a little grumpy, but I think that’s just his personal But he spends his days cuddling up to my husband, who was his primary target. He has been sweet and obedient going into his cage, when told the first time laying down when told and even coming up to strangers and allowing them to pet him. I had my 2 year old Aussie go through a 4 week board and train and it was a game changer. He was a dog who had very bad separation anxiety, crate anxiety and reactivity issues towards other dogs. After the 4 weeks of training for my pup and the consistent upkeep on what he learned, he has grown immensely. My stress levels have dropped because I can fully trust him when we are out and about. He is currently 2 months out of training and has been a true rockstar. I highly recommend Koena K9 to anyone who is looking for training! 10 stars if I could.

My experience with Koena K9 training with Christa was amazing! I did the private lessons package for my 3 year Labrador Retriever, Winnie. Winnie was great in the home, but very anxious outside and couldn’t be walked because of bad leash pulling and was scared of everything. There was an immediate change with just a few lessons! Winnie has gained so much confidence while learning good behavior and understands boundaries. I can now walk my dog anywhere and even allow her to be off leash and live her best life. I wish I would have done the training sooner!
