I cannot Say enough about the discipline and calm Tommy has now brought to our German Shepherd, Misty.His patience with me as the handler was always professional and patient and incredibly encouraging. The difference after Tommy's training of walking Misty in the park was nothing short of amazing. Squirrels and other dogs no longer controlled our walks and Misty thanks to Tommy's training is now able to heal and walk peacefully no longer over reacting by outside influences but only by my commands. We are still in the process of her being trained and I am so encouaged by her progress that we have made I look forward to completion of all of our expectations when we began this process with Tommy. I have worked with other trainers before and I have never worked with anyone who is so dedicated and in tune with the animals that he is working with.

I have nothing but good things to say about Tommy at the K9 academy! We adopted a dog that we thought for sure had bad behavioral problems, and within 15 minutes of the consultation he told us that she just needed some discipline training and that she was actually so smart and a very good girl. I learned so much that I wish I would have known my whole life having dogs. I have since recommend this man to anyone who will listen. Well worth your time and money. We were referred to Tommy by a friend of ours who worked with him and had a great experience. We brought our rescue husky in for a consult and decided to move forward with training. We were really happy with the training sessions, how well our dog did with Tommy and with follow-through after lessons, and the communication. Tommy was great about answering questions we had, went above and beyond what we expected, and bonded well with our dog. She is so much more confident, actively listens and follows our lead, and has significantly improved leash manners from our work with Tommy. Highly recommend!

Knoxville K9 Academy is incredible! Tommy helped me work with my dog I rescued from the shelter. When I got him he was peeing in the house every 10 minutes, play biting, jumping, pulling and unruly. I watched every Youtube video I could find and none of the "tips and tricks" I found were working. We signed up for lessons that were tailored with the end goal of being able to go out off leash. Tommy not only was incredibly knowledgeable, but gave us every tool and more to be successful. Currently my dog is incredible! Pogue (my dog) gets compliments every time we are out. People often stop and comment on his obedience. We owe it all to Tommy!
