KIBA K9s | World-Class Dog Training

Kiba and Trish have been exceptional trainers. They trained us as well and took the nerves away from being first time pet owners. They are honest and kind and treated my puppy as if it was their own. After training we also continued with training sessions and boarding. I know Blu is in good hands when he is with kiba and his team. They continue to guide us through the process and answer all our questions: our Blu is a happy trained puppy now!

Kiba and Tiffany are an amazing team of trainers. They work with the dog parents to help them understand the reasons for each behavior and teach them what to do to help the dog change the behavior. My Australian cattle dog, Sky, was terrified of trains, among other things, now she easily rides the subway without any stress. I worked with other trainers before meeting them and didn’t see much improvement; since we started training with them Sky has made incredible progress. I couldn’t recommend working with them enough!

My highly stubborn and very jumpy 7 years old German Shephard and I took private lessons mostly with Tiffany and a couple with Kirubell and the results are remarkable. A dog that would always look for a way not to follow commands, is now enjoying being a good boy and is trying very hard to change his old ways. Most importantly they taught me how to communicate with my dog much more effectively with clear signals, a lot of positive reinforcement and corrections and not punishment.

We went to kiba to help with our 100b rescue after working with two other trainers and Kiba was incredible. Our focus with Kiba was on overall public access for a service dog in training, which meant managing his reactivity with other dogs and people and channeling his prey drive. Our first meeting with Kirubell and Tiff was great, they understood where we were coming from and gained our confidence with real examples of past success training dogs towards similar goals. Our dog stayed with them for a board and train and they made huge progress during that time. They explained everything in a way that was easy for us to understand and gave us training instructions that worked for us, along with one on one sessions going over all the work that’s been done was great cause you get a real sense of how much progress and what your dog is capable of. The work never stops but we feel so much more prepared for any situation and knowing how to go about achieving our goals has really made the world of difference. We learned just as much as our pup did and feel confident for the future with him pretty much anywhere. We are so glad we worked with them, our only regret is that we didn’t find them sooner.
