Kasten’s Dog Training is a family run business that was founded to educate dogs and their owners in order to achieve its moto, "breathing life into your dog". I had attended a renowned dog training school where I became certified in obedience training and behavior modification (behaviorist). We specialize in pet dog training ranging from happy go lucky, fearful, hyperactive, shy, and dog-human/dog-dog aggression. Through continuing education by attending workshop, seminars and videos our team of trainers is equipped to handle pesky behaviors like barking or jumping, reactivity, and aggression. We also specialize puppies. Training owners how to properly handle, socialize, potty train, and much more in our weekly puppy pre-school class.

How much do they charge to train your puppy
La Diana, thank you for your interest in Kasten’s Dog Training’s puppy preschool program and puppy residency program for your puppy. Our preschool and puppy residency is for puppies age 8 to 17 weeks old.

I also agree. Take them to Kastens. Ultimately your success depends on your consistency with the training, but Kastens gives a great foundation to start from. I took my 7 month old Giant Schnauzer for a 2 week residency. He came back a different dog, but we have to reinforce several times a day.

My husband and I work long hours and often travel. We wanted a place that felt like home for Max. From the front desk staff to the trainers, everyone has been so kind and helpful. Max can often times need redirection and reassurance as he is still in his puppy phase, and they don’t ever hesitate going beyond and brushing up on manners with him. We tell everyone how wonderful this facility is for us as a family and Max. Thank you Kastens for all your good work!

Monte is our very large and strong 3 year old Doberman. Even with a training collar he was a nightmare to walk, so we stopped walking him altogether. We had our consultation with Steve and decided the 2 week in house training session was best for him. We couldn’t believe his progress in his 1st video, his second was even more impressive! We just brought him home a couple days ago and I enjoy walking him!! He listens (although he whines, dramatic lol), almost no pulling at all. He is still a work in progress, but we are willing to put in the time and effort to keep him on the path Kasten’s started! KUDOS to the training staff! We couldn’t be more pleased with Monte!
