Kasie’s Canine Academy

We want anyone who may think a little dog cannot be trained, you need to think again! That is when the trainer is Kasie of Kasie's Canine Academy. Our little Yorkie, named Piper, recently graduated from her train & board at Kasie's and believe me when I tell you she returned home an extremely well-behaved dog. Piper was over a year old and not really a puppy, but she didn't even know her name. She is now a very well-trained wonderful house guest. Kasie’s Canine Academy is the best decision we have made for the well-being of our dog since the day we brought her home! Training with Kasie has given us skills that now allow her to live the life she deserves. Prior to this we actually used 2 other trainers and were just met with frustration and limited outcomes, actually finding out later that one of our training collars was not even fitted correctly. There are so many positives about Kasie’s program that stand out above the rest…how she donates her time and efforts with a foster program that includes training, the cleanliness of the facility, the low dog to staff ratio, the fact that she does not turn away high-drive dogs, her willingness to accommodate care requests, the fact that her training includes public exposure, the list goes on and on! During our advanced off-leash board & train experience we were welcomed several times to the facility to practice our training in different settings. It was always clean, with no smell. We worked with Kasie, as well as Kim, and they were both always patient and kind to interact with, and communicated clearly. We were given frequent updates and sent videos and pictures along the way. Our dog’s high drive was met with the patience and stimulation she needed to learn best. Her progress while training with Kasie and Kim has been phenomenal and we are so excited to now have the skills she needed in order to give her the experiences and constructive outlets she needed to enjoy her life to the fullest. Even now, we are still scheduled to have follow-up training to discuss and work through possible challenges since transitioning back home. I believe Kasie & Kim truly strive to treat their 4 legged clients as their own in the boarding type environment. The only thing I would do differently is find KCA sooner! I can’t recommend them enough!!!

Kasie is an excellent dog trainer! She is very professional and well organized. We signed up for private training as well as a board & train package and we are seeing huge progress in our fur-baby! Kasie has helped us understand how to better work with, communicate clearly and teach our dog through his struggles. When boarding and training our dog, Kasie sent us regular updates on his progress. For future boarding needs, it gives us such a peace of mind to know that we can send him to someone who will take great care of him and continue his training while we are away. We highly recommend Kasie!
