Our experience with Julie was amazing! Her depth of knowledge in training dogs and their humans was impressive. From the first week on Julie guided us through the steps to teach our lab puppy manners. Each week we saw the positive changes in our puppy and our confidence in training Jax grew. By week 8 Julie had given us the tools we needed to be successful owners. I highly recommend Julie and Kaleidoscope Dog Services.

Had such an amazing experience with the one-on-one dog training offered by Julie! She personalized each of our 8 sessions to my 1 1/2 year old golden lab and his needs. We struggled with major reactivity, pulling on walks, whining, jumping, and some separation anxiety. Each week she sent an email reviewing all that we went over in training and what to practice for that week! Brady has made so much progress and is a completely different dog on walks after training with Julie! 100% recommend her dog services and we will be taking her group classes next!

I feel so fortunate to have found Julie at Kaleidoscope Dog Services for training my dogs. We have a 6-year old chocolate lab and a 1 year old golden retriever. Julie mainly helped me with our golden both as a puppy and again when our dog was older. We worked with Julie in private lessons and participated in a Canine Good Citizen Class. Julie listened to our training needs and developed programs to address those needs. Julie helped us with many things including walking, staying at the doorway inside, recall, staying in a designated place, not eating socks, focusing on the human, polite behavior around other dogs and many other skills. She was great at explaining dog behavior along the way and made sure that we understood the basics before moving to more complicated training concepts. I really appreciated her patience and kind and caring demeanor. I would highly recommend Julie to other pet parents looking for a caring and effective trainer.

I can't recommend Julie enough! I was having all sorts of trouble with my puppy's behavior's including general impulse control, counter surfing, jumping and relaxed walks. It was hard to bring him around others and to get him to calm down but after a couple months training with Julie, we were able to turn a corner and he has been getting better every day ever since. She provided me exercises and homework to complete in between sessions to not only train my pup, but to train me as well and how to build and maintain healthy behaviors in a positive. Anybody who is training a puppy for the first time should definitely reach out to her as she will help you develop a plan to train and ultimately build a greater connection with you and your dog!

We had Julie come in to help teach us to train our girl Dixie, a chocolate lab, at 5 months of age. Dixie had tremendous amount of anxiety going out on walks. Julie started to work on helping Dixie get over the fear and at the end of 6 lessons Dixie had overcome a considerable amount of the fear making our walks pleasurable for both Dixie and myself. Julie also trained our Dixie on basic commands (manners) such as place, leave it and others.
