I am so grateful that I found Julie to help me train my new puppy Lily. Julie was a wealth of knowledge, kind, and caring! By completing the private lessons and attending the group classes, I was provided the tools and strategies I needed to help manage the crazy puppy stage. She provided online resources and videos to help me understand the process and my dog’s behaviors. She tailored the training to meet the challenges and specific issues my dog was struggling with, and now Lily has improved so much in these past few months! Thank you Julie for establishing a foundation in Lily’s training that I can build on in the future!

I have had the pleasure of working with Julie with two different dogs, both puppy and adult, over the last year. She has so much knowledge, patience, and an obvious love for what she does, with a clear goal of building happy and healthy relationships between dogs and their people. Julie was fantastic! I hired her because my four-month-old mixed breed rescue was reactive to noises, dogs, and people, and I only had a vague idea of how to go about changing his behavior. Julie provided hands-on training in our weekly sessions. She explained the psychology behind the instruction, demonstrated the techniques for me, and gave me feedback on my training so I could get it right. Her knowledge and experience were a huge boost to my confidence—now I know what I’m doing and how to continue even after our sessions have ended. As a result of working with her, my dog is much less reactive, easier to redirect, and on his way to being comfortable around other dogs. I’m very grateful for her help.
