K9s Place

We started with K9 Place 3 years ago. I have a 9 year old reactive German Shepherd. She was dog aggressive and did not like men. We started with a 2 week board and train. I was amazed at how much better she was. Then we started joining pack walks once a week. Pack Walks are amazing for her. We get to the pack walk now and she's relaxed. When we start walking and doing the exercises with everyone else it does her a world of good. She's so much calmer. I've seen her go from escalating at the drop of a hat to a much calmer more confident dog. Now I'm so excited and happy that she's able to go to day care and just be a dog a couple of times a week. I'm hoping that she will gain even more confidence and that she will be able to relax even more when around other dogs. She has also calmed down around men. All of the trainers spend time with her and she's finally realized that the men won't hurt her. We adopted Millie at 4 years old and she was a mess. Thanks to K9s Place and a lot of work and patience from everyone involved with her, Millie is doing so much better. I would recommend K9s Place to everyone. Their partnership with Millie and I has strengthened my relationship with her and made life with her enjoyable. They also do grooming now and are so good with her.

We absolutely love K9 Place! I bring my dog Ziggy there for daycare, and it has been such a great experience from the very beginning. He recently moved up from the puppy learn-and-play program, and the transition has been seamless. The staff is truly wonderful—friendly, attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about the dogs. They’ve been great about helping Ziggy build confidence and socialize in a safe, structured environment. Most importantly, Ziggy LOVES going there. He gets so excited when we pull in, and that says everything. It gives me total peace of mind knowing he’s happy, well cared for, and having fun.
