K9s Place

We absolutely love K9’s Place - Trevor, Eileen and their team are absolutely amazing! Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable from the people who greet you at the desk to the trainers, you can tell that Trevor and Eileen have really poured their hearts into creating a place where dogs and their people can learn and thrive! We have been taking our golden puppy, Murph, here from the beginning, for daycare, boarding and training (we’ve done a pack walk or too as well!). We started with the puppy package and had two private sessions with Brendan. Just those two sessions taught us a lot, and really the more time Murph spent at K9’s Place, the more we have grown to trust and love the team! He has been a regular at doggie daycare, and being the goofy golden he is, we found he was not holding his own in with the large dogs. Trevor and his staff picked up on it fairly quickly, and have worked to get Murph in with a group of dogs that fit his mentality - just the extra care and attention to notice that he needed a change was a huge plus for us and another reason we will be back often! They really do care about the dogs and work hard to help them thrive! Since they have gotten to know Murph, we asked for their recommendation for training, and what course would give us the best long term result, knowing we had interest in potentially pursuing service dog training for Murph. Trevor had a great conversation where he laid out several different options and the pros and potential cons of each, but ultimately let it be our decision. We just picked Murph up from the 2 week board and train with e-collar, and I cannot put into words how happy we are with his progress! I never thought I would find myself putting him in a board and train program, but the staff at K9’s place is truly top notch, and I wouldn’t trust Murph with anyone else. He was excited to see us and come home, but he also loves the trainers there so much, even after his doggy bootcamp, which just shows how much they really are in it for the dogs! If you’re on the fence, or “shopping around” - stop here. Not only will your dog love it, you’ll really get the tools and support you need as well to make sure everyone is thriving!
