FirstBarkStephen is working with my rescue Malinois shepherd mix Kody. He lacks confidence and so Stephen is using mostly positive training with him. He plays with Kody and makes the training fun. We are enjoying these sessions and look forward to much progress.

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Stephen and the incredible work he has done with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Maizy. From day one, Stephen has been patient, knowledgeable, professional, and truly invested in Maizy’s success. With Stephen’s guidance, Maizy has made tremendous progress with recall, sit, and stay, and we are now working on walking politely on a leash without pulling. We have also begun service dog training, and we are so grateful to have Stephen leading us through this journey. Stephen’s training methods are positive, effective, and easy for both dogs and owners to understand and implement. He takes the time to explain everything and genuinely cares about helping each dog reach their full potential. If you are looking for an exceptional dog trainer, we highly recommend Stephen. Maizy absolutely loves working with him, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!
Steve has been amazing! He worked with my German shepherd, after her first visit we had already learned techniques to implement until the next visit. My dog was very responsive to his style of training. I would definitely recommend him!

Stephen has been incredible to work with! His background with golden retriever service dogs made it a perfect fit for what I was looking for with my goldendoodle. I met with another dog trainer before choosing Stephen, and it was his obvious love and connection with dogs that sold me. We started training when Bear was 4 months old and already mastered so many commands. Bear LOVES training with Stephen. I can’t wait to see what’s to come!
